Import and Export Fields
How-to Guide

Step 1 – Navigate to SortSpoke

Step 2 – Enter Email and Password

Step 3 – Click "Login"

Step 4 – "Launch" the Project to be Copied and Exported

Step 5 – Go to the "Sort" page

Step 6 – Click "Edit Categories"

Step 7 – Click the "More" menu

Step 8 – Select "Import/Export"

Step 9 – Click the "Category" drop down menu

Step 10 – Select the Category to be Exported

Step 11 – Click "Export Fields"

The file will be Exported into your "Downloads" folder

Step 12 – Click "Close"

Step 13 – Go back to the Dashboard

Step 14 – "Launch" the Project to Import into

Step 15 – Go to the "Sort" page

Step 16 – Click "Edit Categories"

Before Importing make sure you have the Categories you need created

Step 17 – "Add" a new Category

Skip if Importing into an existing Category

Step 18 – Click the "More" menu

Step 19 – Select "Import/Export"

Step 20 – Click the "Category" drop down menu

Step 21 – Select the newly created Category or an existing Category

Note: Importing into an existing Category will completely override the Category's current field layout

Step 22 – Select or drop the Exported JSON file from the "Downloads" folder

Click "Import Fields"

Step 23 – Success!

Click "Close"

Step 24 – Click "Done"

Step 25 – Go to the "Extract" page

Step 26 – Select the Category to view the Imported field layout

Step 27 – The Imported field layout will now be available
